Day 1: Ashgabat
After arrival the loсal guide at the Ashgabat International Airport. This day we will explore the capital of Turkmenistan. The city is located in the South of the state on the plain between the Kopetdag mountain range and the Karakum desert. The name of the city is translated from Turkmen as "City of love". It was built in 1881. This day you will have a sightseeing tour and discover following sights: Lenin’s square, Park of Independence (looking and like a white-marble “Eiffel Tower” standing in a beautiful park), Arch of Neutrality. Afterwards we will visit Museum of Ethnography and Museum of Fine Arts. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Darwaza
This day you will experience the amazing attraction “Old Nisa” – the capital of the once powerful Parthian Kingdom, it was listed in UNESCO in 2007. You are going to explore this day "Gypjak” Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Further you will transfer to the North of Turkmenistan, and discover village “Bahardok” where you will see the life of local residents. The tour will continue with driving to Darwaza natural attraction. People call it as the Gates of Hell, which was found in 1971 and to this day the flames come out of a huge hole. You will have an opportunity to see the amazing views of Darwaza. The night will be in the hotel.
Day 3: Darwaza – Kunya Urgench – Shavat border
The adventure takes you to amazing North province of Turkmenistan, you will observe there the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. Youwill discover the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. After the excursion you will departure to Turkmen-Uzbek border Shavat.
