Name of the tour: Tour of Wonders 

Length of itinerary: 8 days / 7 nights  

Day 1: Ashgabat
After arriving at the Ashgabat International Airport, you will have a meeting with your loсal guide. Then you will start your “Tour of Wonders”. First of all, you will visit the parks and squares of the capital, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, the archeological site “Nisa”. The ruins have mud brick remains of fortifications and palaces, temples, ceremony hall, treasury building. It covers the remains of Parthian civilization, what combined the traditional art and culture with Hellenistic and Roman elements. The next place to visit will be the Turkmenbashy spiritual mosque in Kipchak. After that we will drive to Ashgabat city. Today’s night will be spent in the hotel.

Day 2: Ashgabat – Merv – Ashgabat
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our tour to Mary city. On the way we will have stop at Annau, the ruins of the 15th century Seyit Jamal-ad-Din Mosque, Abiward or Abi-ward, was an ancient Sassanid city in modern-day Turkmenistan. Archaeological excavations at the ancient city of Abiward have been made in the last century to about 8 km west of the Kahka station in an area of 12,000 m2. The central tell is 60 feet high and 700 feet round. Further we will keep going to Mary city. Then visit of an Ancient Merv which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the major archaeological sites of Central Asia, Merv played an important part in the development of the Silk Road for more than 2 000 years. The splendid XII c. mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammed ibn-Zeyd, demonstrating exquisite Seljuk period brickwork and architectural decor. After having dinner, we will drive to local airport transfer to Ashgabat. 

Day 3: Ashgabat – Turkmenbashi
Today in the early morning we will have our breakfast, then transfer to Turkmenbashi. On the way we will have an opportunity to visit KovAta. After lunch drive to Turkmenbashy. On our way we will look round tourist zone Awaza.  We will have time for the rest on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Farther we will drive back to Turkmenbashi. Today’s night will be spent in a hotel. 

Day 4: Turkmenbashi – Yaginkala – Ashgabat
On the fourth day of your “Tour of Wonders” you will drive to Yangykala. The word “yangikala” is translated from Turkmen language as “fire fortresses”. You will visit Yangikala canyon, Gozli Ata pilgrimage place. After having dinner drive back to Turkmenbashi domestic airport, to have a flight to Ashgabat. Night will be in a hotel.  

Day 5: Ashgabat – Darwaza – Kunya Urgench – Dashoguz
In the morning we will have a tour to the north of Ashgabat. On the way we will visit the village Erbent where can be acquainted with life of the Turkmen people. Continue with the fiery crater in the town Darwaza. After lunch we will drive to Kunya Urgench, visit an architectural monument of Old Urgench, Khorezm capital X-XII centuries. During the tour, visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, TyurabekKhanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia KutlygTimur. Then we will drive to Dashaguz. Night will be spent in a hotel.  

Day 6: Dashoguz – Ashgabat
After breakfast in the early morning we will directly drive to Dashoguz local airport to have  flight to Ashgabat. After arriving, we will drive to Oriental Bazaar "Altyn Asyr", to see the beauty of Turkmen carpets and silver jewelry, Souvenirs. Continuing the tour route to the local horse farm to see the famous Akhal-Teke horses. Output of horses of different colors, horse food on the horse inside the farm. Today you will stay in the hotel.

Day 7: Ashgabat
Today’s day is devoted to a city tour which includes the visits of local attractions: The Ark of Neutrality, Independence Park, monument of Akhalteke horses the memorial dedicated to the earthquake, the National Museum, independence period parks and monuments. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 8: Flight
Today your tour comes to the end. In the morning you will be transferred to the Ashgabat International Airport.
