Day 1: Bishkek
After arrival at Manas International Airport our driver will meet you and start your in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. You will have a guided tour in Bishkek this whole day where you will get acquainted with the sights of our capital. The city tour includes visits of Victory square, Oak Park, Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, the National Philharmonic and many other attractions of interest including Asian Bazaar. Because no tour of Bishkek is complete without visiting it. You will spend some time in this Bazaar, observe the life of local people, take a lot of dynamic photos. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek – Alamedin gorge – Bishkek
In the morning you will have a transfer to Alamedin gorge. In this gorgeous gorge you will spend some time for hiking. During this time, you will be able to see cattle and even traditional dwelling of nomads- yurts. Kyrgyz people call it “boz ui” which means “grey house”. It looks very special; besides it is possible to live in yurts all year round. As Kyrgyzstan is rich in flora, in this gorge also you can see the diversity of plants. The mountains are covered with fir trees. The entire route is a mountain river which ends with a waterfall that flows from the rocky mountains. You will have a picnic near this waterfall and enjoy the beauty of all around. After that we will return to Bishkek where you will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3: Bishkek – Konorchek – Chon Kemin
Today we will transfer to the famous Boom Gorge. There is a breathtaking canyon inside Boom with unusual red rock formation which is called Konorchek. You will stop there to have a radial hiking trip. The road to these red rocks takes about 2 hours one-way. At the end you will see an incredible view of this canyon. If you are not tired then you can spend one more hour walking around to experience the panoramic view. The road to the red canyon is not a difficult one. It runs along amazing rocky mountains. Three times you will need to cross over some big stones. This will be your best experience. On the continuation of the tour, we will drive to Chon Kemin gorge. Today you will spend the night in a homestay.
Day 4: Chon Kemin – Issyk Kul lake northern shore
On the fourth day of the tour we will transfer to celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world which located at an altitude of 1608 meters above the sea level. Its length is 180 km and it is 60 km wide. The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". For more than 1 500 years local people considered the lake to be a sacred one. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. On the way, we will take a short break to give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions dating back to 800 B.C. These petroglyphs were made more than 2000 years ago by shamans. All these stones are still in their original places as they were at that the time. You can see a panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake from this place – back then the people thought that it was the middle of the world. Then your driver will take you to the hotel.
Day 5: Issyk Kul – Grigorievskoye – Semenovskoye – Karakol
Today we will start the tour with driving along picturesque Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe gorges. During the ride you should be ready for the indescribable beauty of the gorge, fascinating panoramic views. While journeying from one gorge to another you will have several photo stops and the trip guarantees you beautiful pictures. Then we continue our way along the northern shore of the lake to the city of Karakol. There you will get acquainted with the popular Dungan mosque. The uniqueness of the structure is in the fact that during its construction no nail was used, and all parts of the building were connected by slots and cuttings. The mosque is a shining example of Chinese culture on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. Stood for a century, preserves the supernatural, it brings peace and tranquility into the hearts of guests and visitors. The next sightseeing will be the old wooden Orthodox Church. After exploring these destinations, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 6: Karakol – Jyrgalan
Today’s day is dedicated to an excursion to Jyrgalan valley. It is located 60 kilometers from the city of Karakol. Seven nearby peaks surround the valley, offering beautiful views and weather that is perfect for year-round adventure activities. Cool breezes filter down from the glaciers in the warm summer months, allowing for world-class trekking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. And during the winter, those same mountains protect freeride skiers from harsh winter winds, leaving miles of fresh snow for the taking. You could not design a destination whose contours were more suited to adventure tourism.
Day 7: Jyrgalan – Jeti Oguz – Issyk Kul southern shore – Bishkek
In the morning we will drive to fascinating Jeti Oguz gorge which is located 25km south-west of Karakol. It is covered with lush vegetation with a monumental red rock ridge. These rocks are so unusual and magnificent. Such an unusual name “Seven Bulls” is derived from the red rocks at the entrance of the gorge, the length of which is 37km. Another notable highlight is the famous rock in the shape of Broken Heart, a place of pilgrimage of lovers. At your request we will hike 20 minutes to see a panoramic view of the gorge. On the continuation of the tour we will go to the Bokonbaeva village, where you will meet a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. It is an ancient kind of hunting animals preserved from generation to generation. You will find out a lot of interesting facts about it. Further, we will continue our way to Bishkek. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 8: Airport
In the morning the transfer will take you to the airport. This is the last day of your Pearl of Central Asia Tour in fascinating Kyrgyzstan and you are returning back your home.
